Description

A pair of houses dating from the mid-19th century, located on Randolph Road in Westminster. The houses are built of brick, with a stucco finish. They are three storeys high, with a basement, and extend over four bays, featuring a slight projection in the centre, with a curved gable above. Steps lead to paired porches supported by Tuscan columns, accentuated by decorative stucco bands and volutes at number 6. The front doors are panelled, each with a fanlight within a keyed surround. The lower floors incorporate two-storey canted bays with sash windows set within banded architraves, adorned with stucco shell motifs. The first floor features round-arched sash windows in raised, panelled pilaster surrounds. Sill bands run across the façade. Sashes on the second floor are set within architraves. Segmental pediments are above the outer bays, with the pediment on number 6 being damaged.
