Description

No. 8A Randolph Road is a villa built in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of brick and has a stucco finish. It stands three storeys high with a basement and features three bays, with a slight central projection topped by a curvilinear gable. There are steps leading up to a central projecting porch supported by Tuscan columns, which have a decorative stucco band on their pedestals. The villa has a volute cornice and quoins, as well as sill bands. To the left, there is a two-storey canted bay. The windows are sash style, set within banded architraves, and the first floor has round-arched sashes framed by panelled pilaster keyed surrounds. Above, the sashes are also in architraves. The return front facing Clifton Gardens has four bays and features a central curvilinear gable.
