Description
No. 58 Davies Street is a former premises of Messrs John Bolding's works, built between 1889 and 1890 by architect J T Wimperis. The building features a terracotta facade and a slate roof, showcasing a Free Jacobean-Flemish Renaissance style. It has three main storeys and a roof that is framed by gables of varying designs. The facade has seven window bays facing Davies Street, along with a corner entrance. The building is richly decorated with intricate moulded terracotta ornamentation. The windows include large camber-arched display windows on the ground floor, which remain largely unaltered.
