Description
No. 21 South Molton Street is a terrace house with a shop, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of stock brick, with the ground floor finished in stucco and a concealed slate roof. The building has four storeys and is three windows wide. The shop front is a later 20th-century addition, but the original house entrance remains on the left, featuring a six-panel door and a semicircular fanlight set within a wooden doorcase that includes Doric pilasters, dosserets, and an open pediment. The upper floors are fitted with recessed plate glass sashes that sit under flat gauged arches and have stuccoed reveals. There is a plat band at the first floor level and a parapet with coping at the top.
