Description
Nos 24 and 25 South Molton Street are late 18th century terrace houses with shops, with the attic storey likely added in the 19th century. They are constructed of stock brick and have a concealed slate roof, standing four storeys tall with each front featuring three windows. No 24 displays a late 19th century shop front with bracket-capped pilasters and a fascia, along with a later 20th century display window and door. No 25 has a later 20th century shop front but retains the house entrance on the left, which features an early 19th century stucco architrave doorcase with a cornice on consoles framing a semicircular arched opening that includes a panelled door and fanlight. The upper floors have recessed sash windows, some of which still have glazing bars, set beneath flat gauged red brick arches. A moulded and dentilled cornice runs across both fronts above the second floor, topped by a parapet with coping.
