Description
No. 43 Berkeley Square is a town house built around 1749-50, with some alterations from the 20th century. It is constructed of brown brick and features four storeys, a basement, and a slated mansard attic with pedimented dormers. The ground floor is made of stone, showcasing banded rustication and a stone architrave doorcase with a cornice supported by consoles on the right side. There is a dentil cornice at the third floor level and a moulded stone band below the parapet. The sash windows have stone architrave surrounds, with those on the first floor adorned with pediments. A mid-20th century continuous iron balcony is present on the first floor. The area railing retains original wrought iron lampholders and extinguishers.
