Description

TQ 2781 NE CITY OF WESTMINSTER WYNDHAM PLACE, Wl 43/76 21.4.83 No. 3 to 6(consec.) G.V. II Terraced houses. c.1811-15, as part of J.T. Parkinson's Bryanston Square Portman Estate development. Stock brick with channelled stucco ground floor; concealed slate roofs. 4 storeys and basement. 2-window wide fronts. Semicircular arched doorways to left; panelled doors in pilastered modillioned doorheads, jambs and fanlights, patterned to No. 4. Recessed sashes, under flat gauged arches, of red brick to Nos. 5 and 6, to upper floors. Stuccowork finished off with plat band. Crowning stucco cornice and blocking course. Continuous cast iron geometric patterned balconies to 1st floor. Cast iron area railings with urn finials.
