Description
112 and 114 Grove Lane are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of stucco and feature a unified design with a central projecting section that has four bays, topped with a pediment and acroteria above the cornice, along with pilasters at the corners. Each house is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with later two-storey, one-bay extensions that are set back.
No. 112 has a door with fluted timber pilaster jambs, a cornice head, and a rectangular fanlight in the set-back outer bay. No. 114 features a door within a later one-storey projecting porch at the angle, as well as an additional door leading to its outer extension. The houses have moulded architraves around the casement windows, with the ground floor windows being particularly long. There is a sill band at the first floor level of the pedimented section. The interior has not been inspected.
