Description
11 and 13 Lockerby Road are a pair of houses built in the 1840s. They are constructed of stucco and feature a slate roof, standing two storeys high with an attic. Each house has three bays, with the outer bays recessed and two storeys tall, while the middle bays project under open pediments. There is a lintel band on the ground floor and a sill course on the first floor, along with a second floor sill band and deep bracketed eaves. The corners of the buildings have rusticated quoins.
The inner bays have projecting windows with entablatures and pierced parapets, and the tripartite windows are supported by consoled mullions. The middle bays feature canted bay windows with pierced parapets. The outer bays have round-headed entrances adorned with large keystones. The first-floor windows are framed with eaved architraves, and the outer bays have paired round-headed windows. In the attic, there are round-headed windows, with those in the inner bay breaking through the eaves and having bracketed hoods.
No. 11 has its ground floor windows blocked and includes a 20th-century timber porch. No. 13 has an inserted window on the first floor.
