Description

No. 6 Laurel Road is a house built in the 1860s. It features a stucco exterior and a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The ground floor showcases chancelled rustication, with a sill and impost courses on the first floor, and deep boxed eaves supported by brackets. The ground floor includes canted bays adorned with entablatures and a parapet featuring pierced guilloche panels. The first floor has round-headed windows with archivolts, keystones, and consoled pediments, with the two outer windows being segmental. All windows are casements. The central entrance is round-headed and is framed by an Ionic porch topped with a segmental pediment parapet.
