Description
No. 37 Garston Old Road is a house built in the mid-19th century. It features a stucco exterior and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with the end bay projecting and topped with a gable. There is a band above the ground floor and a string course at the first floor, with decorative panels over the bracketed eaves. The ground floor has quions, and the roof is hipped. The third bay includes a window with a flat surround, a consoled cornice, and a tripartite sash. The first floor has a paired window with an iron balcony and a pediment above the eaves. The second and third bay windows are similar, featuring a frieze and segmental pediment. The ground floor has casement windows, while the first floor has sash windows. The entrance is marked by a two-panel door and an open timber gabled porch.
