Description

The Lodge to Cressington Park is a mid-19th century building located on Aigburth Road. It is constructed of stone and features a slate roof. The lodge is a single storey with two bays and has channelled rustication. It includes a top entablature with a Vitruvian scroll on the architrave and a bracketed frieze. The windows are sash style without glazing bars. At the center, there is a recessed porch with a distyle-in-antis design in the Tuscan order, where the columns are formed by antae. The porch is adorned with a Vitruvian scroll on the frieze and has a half-glazed door with narrow round-headed lights on either side.
