Description
No. 12 Holly Road is a house built in the 1840s. It is constructed of stucco and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features five bays, with the central bay projecting under a pediment. The right-hand end bay is recessed and lower than the others. The house has quoins and a top entablature with a deep bracketed cornice. The windows are sash style with architraves, and some have glazing bars. The ground floor windows and the window in the central bay on the first floor have friezes and consoled cornices. There are two blind windows on the ground floor. The central enclosed porch has an entrance flanked by casement windows with panelled aprons. It also features flat pilasters and an entablature with a blocking course, as well as a niche containing a statue.
