Description

No. 33 Rowson Street is a house built around 1835, featuring a stucco exterior and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has five bays, with the second and fourth bays projecting forward under gables. It has a cornice and bracketed eaves, along with quoins. The second and fourth bays include bowed tripartite windows that have architraves, pulvinated friezes, and consoled cornices, as well as panelled parapets and casements. The end windows are similar in design. On the first floor, there are windows with paired round-headed lights, which are topped with consoled archivolts and keystones, while the second and fourth bays feature triplet windows. The central entrance is framed by panelled pilasters and architraves, leading to a glazed door with an overlight. There are two chimney stacks, and an additional entrance has been inserted into the fifth bay. The gatepiers are adorned with round-headed panels and pediments.
