Description
Hailes House is a house built in the 1840s. It is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys with an attic and is composed of three bays. The ground floor showcases channelled rustication, a sill course on the first floor, and a top frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The window in the first bay of the ground floor has a segmented relieving arch and is tripartite with consoled mullions. The window in the third bay of the ground floor features an architrave frieze and a consoled cornice. On the first floor, there are segmental-headed, architraved windows that flank central projecting round-headed windows, which break through the eaves and have bracketed hoods. The central entrance is round-headed with a coved surround and projects under a segmental pediment, leading to a glazed door.
