Description

No. 4 Laurel Road is a house built in the 1860s. It features a stucco exterior and a slate roof, with two storeys and three bays. The ground floor showcases channelled rustication, a sill band on the first floor, quoin strips, and deep boxed eaves supported by brackets. The ground floor also includes canted bay windows, although the cornice has been removed, and it has casement windows. The first floor windows are adorned with architraves, friezes, and consoled cornices, with the central window featuring a segmental pediment, all of which are casements. The central entrance is round-headed, with a hollow chamfer and a keystone. This building is included for its group value.
