Description
A pair of houses dating from around 1840, located on Camberwell Grove. The houses are constructed of stucco with a low-pitched slate roof hidden behind a pedimented central section which slightly projects. A later window has been inserted into the tympanum of the pediment, and there is a cornice marking the outer bays. The houses are two storeys high with an attic and a raised basement, each having two bays. Steps lead to the entrances in the outer bays, with recessed doors flanked by Doric pilasters supporting an entablature. The windows are mostly sash windows with glazing bars; those on the ground and first floors of the central section are larger and set in giant, slightly recessed segmental-headed panels. Bands run along the ground and first floor sills. The interior has not been inspected.
