Description

Numbers 124 and 125 are a pair of semi-detached houses, dating from around 1845, and now used as flats. They are constructed of stucco with a low-pitched slate roof, featuring dormers behind a heavy cornice and parapet, and a large central chimney stack. The houses are three storeys high, with an attic and a sunken basement. Each house has three bays, with the outer bay slightly recessed. Attached to each side is a two-storey, one-bay entrance extension featuring a round-arched ground-floor porch. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars; those on the ground floor are round-arched, with plain pilasters and arched surrounds. Upper-floor windows have plain architraves, with the architraves to the longer first-floor windows being eared. A first-floor sill band is also present. The interior has not been inspected. The property includes a balustraded area wall with cast-iron gates and railings to the sides.
