Description

A pair of semi-detached houses dating to around 1840. They are constructed of stucco, with a roof that is not visible. The houses are two storeys high with a basement, and each house is two windows wide, plus recessed outer bays (one storey to number 3, two storeys to number 4). Each house has an entrance within a projecting bay featuring a Doric porch and a panelled door. Pilasters are positioned between the houses and frame the windows above the entrances. The ground floor windows have architraves and cornices, while the central bays house tripartite sash windows with plate glass and some margin glazing. Cast iron window guards are present. A cornice sits above the first-floor parapet. The buildings form part of a remarkably consistent row of similar houses.
