Description
No 24 Blenheim Road is a detached house built around 1840-1850. It is constructed of grey brick with stucco dressings. The roof is not visible, and the house has two storeys and a basement, with a width of two windows. To the left, there is a pilastered projecting stucco porch with a segmental entrance. The windows are square-headed and have architraves, with the right-hand bay featuring tripartite windows. The left-hand upper window has sashes with plate glass and margin glazing. A moulded band runs between the storeys, breaking forward into a cornice above the ground floor window. There is also a cast iron window guard. This house is part of an unusually coherent sequence of similar houses.
