Description

No. 22 Blenheim Road is a detached house dating from approximately 1840 to 1850. It is constructed of grey brick with stucco dressings, and has a roof that is not visible. The house is two storeys high with a basement, and is two windows wide. A pilastered, stucco porch projects to the left, featuring a segmental entrance. The windows are square-headed, with architraves; the right-hand bay has a tripartite window. The windows are sash windows with plate glass and some margin glazing. A moulded band runs between the storeys, breaking forward into a cornice above the ground floor windows. A cast iron window guard is present. The building forms part of an unusually coherent sequence of similar houses.
