Description

Nos 9 and 10 Blenheim Road are a pair of semi-detached stucco houses dating to approximately 1840. They are two storeys and have a basement. Each house has a two-window facade, with recessed two-storey bays; the bay to No. 10 has been extended forward to align with the main facade. Doric porches with panelled doors project from the bays, providing the main entrances. Full-height pilasters are located between the houses and frame the windows above the entrances. The ground floor windows are square-headed, architraved, and corniced. The central bays of the pair feature tripartite sash windows with plate glass and some margin glazing. There is a cornice above the first floor. Both houses have been altered to incorporate garages. They form part of a remarkably complete grouping of similar houses.
