Description
Nos 7 and 8 Blenheim Road are a pair of semi-detached houses built around 1840. They are two storeys tall with a basement, and each house features two windows wide with recessed outer two-storey bays. The entrances to the projecting second bays are framed by advanced Doric porches with panelled doors. There are paired pilasters between the houses, framing the windows above the entrances. The ground floor has square-headed windows that are architraved and corniced, while the centre bays of the pair have tripartite sashed windows. The windows include plate glass and some margin glazing. A cornice runs above the first floor, and there is a parapet. These houses are part of an unusually coherent sequence of similar buildings.
