Description

A pair of semi-detached houses dating from approximately 1840. The houses are constructed of stucco, with a hidden roof. They are two storeys high, with a basement, and each house has two windows wide, plus recessed single-storey bays. The entrances are located within projecting bays featuring advanced Doric porches and panelled doors. Pilasters are present between the houses and frame the windows above the entrances. The ground floor windows have architraves and cornices, while the tripartite sash windows in the centre bays have plate glass with some margin glazing. Cast iron window guards are fitted to the ground floor. A cornice runs above the first floor, topped by a parapet. The houses form part of a well-composed group of similar properties.
