Description

This detached house is located on Blenhim Road and dates from approximately 1840 to 1850. It is constructed of grey brick with stucco dressings, and has a hidden roof. The house is two storeys high with a basement, and two windows wide. A pilastered, stucco porch projects to the left, featuring a segmental entrance. The windows are square-headed and have architraves; the right-hand bay has a tripartite window. The windows are sash windows with plate glass. The upper window to the left has margin glazing. A moulded band runs between the storeys, projecting into a cornice above the ground floor windows. A cast iron window guard is present. The property forms part of a remarkably consistent group of similar houses.
