Description
No. 17 Blenheim Road is a detached house dating from approximately 1840 to 1850, and which has been altered since its original construction. The house is stuccoed, with a roof that is not visible. It is two storeys high, with a basement, and has a two-window frontage. A projecting stuccoed porch is located on the left side, its pilasters having been removed, and features a segmental entrance. The windows have square heads and architraves, with a tripartite arrangement in the right-hand bay. The windows are sash windows, with plate glass. Margin glazing is present in the upper window on the left side. A moulded band runs between the two storeys. The house is part of a notably consistent group of similar buildings.
