Description
This is a row of four early to mid-19th century terraced houses located on the west side of Camberwell Grove. The houses are stucco-faced with parapeted roofs. They are three stories tall with an attic over a basement, each having two windows. The ground-floor openings are round-arched, with entrances featuring plain fanlights. A decorative band runs between the ground and first floors. The first-floor windows extend from floor to ceiling and open onto a balcony enclosed by cast-iron railings with a heart and anthemion design. Projecting sills are present on the second-floor windows, with another band separating them from the attic windows. The parapet has plain coping. The windows are sash windows with margin lights; No. 170 retains original 6x6 pane first-floor windows. The interior has not been inspected. The property includes cast-iron area railings.
