Description

This is a terrace of six houses, dating from approximately 1811 to 1820. The houses are constructed of darkened stock brick, with later patching, and feature stuccoed ground floors. They have a plain first-floor sill band and are arranged over four storeys and basements, each house with two windows. The doorways are round-arched, with pilaster jambs supporting cornice heads, and include fanlights—the fanlight at number 147 is radial—above panelled doors. The recessed sash windows have gauged brick flat arches, with most windows containing two panes of glass. The first floor has cast-iron balconies. The houses are topped with parapets. The interiors have not been inspected. Attached cast-iron railings with urn finials define the areas.
