Description
This is a mid-19th century townhouse of three storeys and a basement, originally three windows wide, with a two-storey extension set back to the right. The exterior is of stock brick. The basement and ground floor are faced with banded, rusticated stucco, simulating window voussoirs and key blocks, and supporting a first-floor cill band. Above this is a giant order with feathery capitals. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within eared, moulded architraves on the upper floors. The first-floor windows have decorative 'feet'. A five-step approach leads to a four-panel door, which is situated within a prostyle Ionic porch with an enriched cornice and topped with a rectangular fanlight.
