Description

30 Groveway is an early to mid-19th century building that was once part of a pair. It has three storeys and a basement, featuring two windows. The structure is made of stock brick and has a fairly low-pitched hipped slate roof with deep eaves. The ground floor is finished in banded rusticated stucco, which creates voussoirs for the openings. The building has sash windows, some of which include glazing bars. The upper windows are set in moulded architraves, with a frieze and cornice on the first floor. There are three steps leading up to a six-panel door, which has a cornice head and a radial fanlight, all set within a round-arched recess.
