Description
46 Groveway is an early to mid-19th century villa that stands two storeys tall with a basement and features three windows. The building is constructed of stock brick, with a stuccoed basement. It has a first-floor cill band and a frieze located below the soffit of a fairly low-pitched, hipped slate roof. The sash windows have moulded architraves, with some featuring glazing bars; the central window on the first floor has an eared design. The ground floor has console bracketed cornices and panels beneath the projecting cills, which are fitted with cast iron guards. Access to the villa is via five steps leading to a half-glazed door, which is set back in a moulded architrave surrounded by a stuccoed entablature. This building is included for its group value.
