Description

24 Groveway is a mid-19th century building that was once part of a pair. It has three storeys, an attic, and a basement, with two irregularly placed windows. The exterior is made of stock brick and features a stucco frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The roof is a slated mansard style with a dormer. The windows have moulded architraves, with ground and second floor sashes, and the first floor features long casements with console bracketed cornices above and ornamental cast iron guards on the projecting cills. There are six steps leading up to a half-glazed four-panel door, which is set within a moulded architrave and topped with a console bracketed cornice.
