Description

No. 33 Groveway is an early to mid 19th century villa that stands two storeys high with a basement and features three windows. The building is constructed of stock brick, with a stuccoed basement and frieze. It has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with deep, bracketed eaves. The villa is adorned with angle pilasters that have stuccoed capitals. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are framed by moulded architraves, cornices, and ornamental guards on the ground floor. Access to the villa is via five steps leading to a half-glazed four-panel door situated in a prostyle porch supported by square columns. The property is included in the listing for its group value.
