Description

This is an early to mid-19th century house, significantly rebuilt after wartime damage. It is three storeys high with a basement, and has a three-window front. The exterior is stock brick, with repairs using a mix of different bricks. The roof is low-pitched and covered in slate, with an eaves soffit. There are casement windows on the second floor, and sash windows below. Decorative cast iron guards in the shape of anthemions are present on the first floor. The ground floor is faced with banded stucco, creating the appearance of voussoirs framing round-arched openings. A set of three steps leads to a six-panel door, which has a reeded architrave and a plain fanlight, all set within a round-arched recess. Incised stucco panels are located below the first-floor windows. A wrought iron area cover completes the façade.
