Description

This is an early 18th-century house of three storeys and a sunk basement, originally featuring four windows. The upper parts of the front facade were largely reconstructed following bomb damage. The house has a moderately pitched, pantiled roof, partially concealed by a parapet. The walls are constructed of light red brick. The windows are replaced sash windows with glazing bars, set within flush, moulded frames, and are topped by gauged, shallow segmental, red brick arches. The front door consists of two flat panels and four fielded panels, with a cornice head and a plain fanlight within a deep reveal. A cornice hood supported by flat pilasters and curved brackets, incorporating modillions and dentils, sits above the door.
