Description

No. 114 on Camberwell New Road is an early to mid-19th century house that stands three stories tall with a two-window central block and two-story, one-window side bays that are set back. The building is constructed of stock brick and features a stucco cornice and blocking course, although the upper part of the right bay has undergone some rebuilding and is missing its cornice. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set in stucco-lined reveals, with gauged brick arches above them. The ground floor windows are round-headed and located in round-arched recesses. The entrance features a four-panel door flanked by narrow panelled pilasters, topped with a cornice head and a patterned fanlight, all within an ornamental wrought iron porch that has a swept lead roof. Additionally, a garage opening has been inserted into the ground floor of the right bay.
