Description

This is an early 19th century terrace of three houses, numbered 362, 364, and 366 Kennington Road. They are arranged symmetrically, each house being three storeys high with an attic and basement, and each originally having two or three windows wide. The central house slightly projects. The roofs are slated, with dormers; number 366 has a later, added pediment. Sash windows are set within gauged flat brick arches, most retaining glazing bars. Number 362 has patterned cast iron guards to its ground floor windows, and a four-panel door set within a stucco doorcase featuring fluted pilasters, a plain architrave, and a keyblock carved with a mask. Number 364 has a modern door within a similar surround. Number 366 includes a one-storey and basement left-hand addition, with a modern door in a matching surround, and a projecting left bay. The height of the modern steps leading to the door of number 366 has been altered. The terrace is included on the list for its group value, despite subsequent alterations.
