Description

This is a pair of houses dating from the late 18th century, located at 324A and 326 Kennington Road, London. They are each three storeys high with an attic and basement, and feature two windows each. The houses are constructed of stock brick, with a pedimented façade accentuated by stone cornices and a first-floor cill band; the basements are stuccoed. A lunette with patterned glazing is set within the pediment. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, some of which have been replaced, and are set within gauged brick arches; the ground-floor arches are round. A run of eight steps leads to six-panel doors, each with a cornice head and a patterned radial fanlight. The doorcases feature fluted pilasters, console bracketed cornices, and open pediments.
