Description

This is a probably late 18th century building on the west side of Kennington Road. It is three storeys high, with an attic and basement, and has a front of two windows. The exterior is stuccoed with incised lines, and topped with a parapet. A tiled mansard roof has dormers. The windows are 19th-century casements; those on the first floor extend to a balcony with ornamental railings. The ground floor features rustications that form voussoirs to the sash windows and a round arched doorway. A modern door is placed between engaged columns with feather capitals. The doorway has a mutuled cornice head and a fanlight with vertical bars, accessed by eleven steps. The building is included on the list for its group value.
