Description
Nos 50 to 56 on Viceroy Road, built in the early to mid 19th century, form a terrace of two-storey houses, each featuring three windows. Number 50 has its main front facing Hartington Road, consisting of three bays, with the left bay left blank. The houses are constructed from stock brick and topped with a low-pitched slate roof that has hipped ends and eaves soffit, with dividing chimney walls. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are adorned with gauged brick arches; the ground floor windows are round-headed with radial heads and margin lights, set within round-arched recesses. The entrance features four-panel doors flanked by pilasters, topped with a cornice head and a plain fanlight.
