Description
47 Lansdowne Gardens is a mid-19th century building that may have originally been part of a pair. It stands two storeys high with a basement and features two windows plus a set-back outer bay. The roof is slated with an eaves soffit and a parapet above the outer bay. The building is constructed of stock brick and has gauged brick arches above the sash windows, which include glazing bars. The ground floor windows are round-headed and set in round arched recesses, with projecting sills that have ornamental cast iron guards. Access is provided by eight steps leading to a four-panel half-glazed door, which is topped by a plain fanlight and is framed by a prostyle Ionic porch.
