Description
No. 7 is a detached house built in 1862, featuring a stucco exterior. The building stands three storeys tall, with an attic and basement, and is three bays wide in a symmetrical arrangement. The ground floor has channelling and steps leading up to a central entrance flanked by Doric half columns. On either side of the entrance, there are two-storey canted bay windows supported by Corinthian pilasters on the upper storey. The outer windows on the second floor also have pilasters. A small balustraded balcony is present at the central window, and there is a rich cornice above. The attic above the cornice has been altered, and cast iron balconies are located on the ground floor. This house is part of the planned layout of Holland Park.
