Description
No. 33 is a detached house built in 1862, constructed of stucco. It stands three storeys high, with an attic and basement, and is three bays wide, featuring a symmetrical design of 1:1:1. The ground floor has channelling, and there are steps leading to a central entrance flanked by Doric half columns. On either side of the entrance, there are two-storey canted bay windows supported by Corinthian pilasters on the upper storey. The outer windows on the second floor also have pilasters. A small balustraded balcony is present at the central window, and there is no cornice. The attic was added in the 20th century, and cast iron balconies adorn the ground floor. This house is part of the planned layout of Holland Park.
