Description

No. 34 Holland Park is a detached house built in 1862. It is constructed of stucco and has three storeys, an attic, and a basement. The house is three bays wide, arranged symmetrically as 1:1:1. The ground floor has channelling. Steps lead to the central entrance, which is sheltered by a wrought and cast iron glazed canopy. Two-storey canted bay windows are situated on each side, featuring Corinthian pilasters to the upper storey. Pilasters are also present on the outer windows of the second floor. The house lacks a cornice, and the attic has been rebuilt in cement. There are no balustrades to the bays or central window, but cast iron balconies are present on the ground floor. Originally part of the planned layout for Holland Park.
