Description
No. 35 Holland Park is a detached house built in 1862, featuring a stucco exterior. The building has three storeys, an attic, and a basement, and is three bays wide with a symmetrical design. The ground floor showcases channelling and steps leading to a central entrance flanked by Doric half columns. On either side of the entrance, there are two-storey canted bay windows supported by Corinthian pilasters on the upper storey. The outer windows on the second floor are also adorned with pilasters. A small balustraded balcony sits above the central window, and a rich cornice crowns the structure. The balustraded parapet includes three dormers, with the outer two featuring pediments and the inner one having chimney outlets. Additionally, there are cast iron balconies on the ground floor. This house is part of the planned layout of Holland Park.
