30, Holland Park W11

No. 30 is a detached house built in 1862, constructed of stucco. The building has three storeys, an attic, and a basement, and is three bays wide with a symmetrical design. The ground floor features channelling and steps leading to a central entrance flanked by Doric half columns. Above the entrance, there is a wrought and cast iron glazed canopy. On either side of the entrance, there are two-storey canted bay windows with Corinthian pilasters on the upper storey. The outer windows on the second floor also have pilasters. A small balustraded balcony is located above the central window, and there is a rich cornice along the top of the building. The balustraded parapet includes three dormers, with the outer two having pediments and the inner one featuring chimney outlets. Additionally, there are cast iron balconies on the ground floor. This house is part of the planned layout of Holland Park.
