82, Holland Park W11

No. 82 is a detached house built in 1862, constructed from stucco. It stands three storeys tall, with an attic and basement, and features a symmetrical three-bay façade. The ground floor has channelling and a central entrance flanked by Doric half columns, with steps leading up to it. Above the entrance is a wrought and cast iron glazed canopy. On either side of the entrance, there are two-storey canted bay windows supported by Ionic pilasters on the upper storey. The outer windows on the second floor also have pilasters. A small balustraded balcony is located at the central window, and the building is topped with a rich cornice and a balustraded parapet that includes three dormers; the outer two are pedimented, while the inner one features chimney outlets. Additionally, there are cast iron balconies on the ground floor. This house is part of the planned layout of Holland Park.
