No. 81, Holland Park is a detached house built in 1862 as part of the planned layout for Holland Park. The house is constructed of stucco, with three storeys, an attic, and a basement. It has a symmetrical design of three bays, arranged 1:1:1. The ground floor has channelling, and a central entrance is accessed by steps beneath a wrought and cast iron glazed canopy. Two-storey canted bay windows flank either side of the central entrance, each featuring Ionic pilasters to the upper storey. Pilasters are also present on the outer windows of the second floor, and a small balustraded balcony is positioned in front of the central second-floor window. A decorative cornice runs around the building, topped by a balustraded parapet incorporating three dormers: the two outer dormers have pediments, while the central dormer features chimney outlets. Balconies of cast iron are present on the ground floor.
