Description
No. 10 Holland Park is a detached house built in 1862. It is constructed of stucco and has three storeys, an attic, and a basement. The house is three bays wide and symmetrical, featuring channelling on the ground floor. There are steps leading to the central entrance, which is flanked by Doric half columns. Above the steps is a wrought and cast iron glazed canopy. On either side of the entrance, there are two-storey canted bay windows with Corinthian pilasters on the upper storey. The outer windows on the second floor also have pilasters. A small balustraded balcony is located at the central window. The house has a rich cornice parapet that includes three dormers, with the outer ones being remodelled and the inner one having chimney outlets. There are cast iron balconies on the ground floor, and the property has a garage in the basement. This house is part of the planned layout of Holland Park.
