Description

This is a terrace of six houses located on the west side of North Hill, Highgate. Dated 1811, as indicated by a plaque at the first floor centre reading "Prospect Place", the terrace comprises six houses, each three storeys high with two windows. The houses are constructed of stock brick with a parapet front. The windows are recessed. Second-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars; first-floor windows are long casements with wrought iron balconies; and ground-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars, some of which have been replaced. Stucco lines the reveals. The front doors vary; those of numbers 109, 111, and 113 have blocked fanlights, number 115 has a reproduction Georgian door and doorcase, and number 117 features a door of six fielded panels with a patterned fanlight, set within a pedimented doorcase which may be original.
